In the new Expeditions update, the battery mounts no longer drain the car battery, so the only thing that changes are the original mod's changes regarding the car batteries; the rest is completely unchanged. I haven't contacted him, but I hope I don't have any issues and that at some point this will be resolved in a way other than this.
